Such idiocy continues to get so much attention by the media even though their antics have become very predictable and disgusting and have “no redeeming social value” (remember that old legal standard for establishing “pornographic”? That coverage seems to indicate that the media moguls have a very low opinion of the intellectual capacity of their markets.

You are most magnanimous intellectually to allow that there “must be some sanity” hidden somewhere in the rants of that lunatic fringe.

I have the feeling that if a grain of reason were to be found in their inanities, they wouldn’t want to acknowledge it.

I expect that any day, now that a new school year has begun, the teabaggers will start a strident campaign to ban The Tempest from schools because “Caliban” rhymes with “Taliban”.
